The Daily Crosshatch = Good Stuff
by Joey Manley
I’ve been re-evaluating my comics-related blog trawl over the past week or so. I got tired of reading twenty people talking constantly about Jimmy Olsen turning into a giant turtle that one time, I guess.
Anyway, I’ve also been on the lookout for new blogs. The Daily Crosshatch is one of the better ones I’ve found (I found it through another of my recent subscriptions, the also worthwhile STWALLSKULL).
This may be a total non-shocker to the rest of you — for all I know, you’ve all been reading The Daily Crosshatch all along, and I’m just (as usual) the last in line. Anyway.
Recent notable posts include interviews with Raina Telgemeier, Paige Braddock and Gilbert Hernandez (who is my second-favorite Hernandez, after Lea), as well as excerpts from the apparently quite meaty syllabus for a cartooning class that Ivan Brunetti teaches at Chicago’s Columbia College.
Consider this a catch-up linkblog post, covering all those items I would have noticed, and blogged, if I’d been reading The Daily Crosshatch all along, as I should have been.
