Congrats to Dave Roman and team for this deal, which sounds like it may be a bit farther along than a lot of the Hollywood options we hear about in the webcomics world:

Paramount has acquired screen rights to “Agnes Quill: An Anthology of Mystery,” a graphic novel by Dave Roman.

Thor Freudenthal (”Hotel for Dogs”) is attached to direct, and Evan Spiliotopoulos is writing the script.

As far as I know, Agnes Quill made its original debut on Webcomics Nation (where its archive can still be found), which gives me just a little bit more reason to be excited by this very exciting news, in addition, you know, to the general niceness of Dave Roman and enjoying seeing one of the Good Guys get ahead. Way to go Dave!
