Bollywood Follies

by Joey Manley

So there’s this Bollywood movie featuring people dressed up as famous Marvel and DC superheroes, which is weird enough. I’ll bet they didn’t pay a licensing fee. But then they go compound the weirdness by putting art from several completely unrelated webcomics in the promotional posters for this movie. Even weirder. I guess if Marvel and DC can’t put a stop to this kind of thing, the average webcartoonist probably doesn’t have a chance (this is one of the few times that DJ Coffman and I will ever agree on something, I guess).

But. Yeah. Weird.

And here I thought the weirdest Bollywood new I would hear today was Mike Tyson’s announcement that he’s decided to pursue a career as a Bollywood actor…

  3. Ryan Estrada Says:

Coincidentally, Mike Tyson’s first appearance in a Bollywood film is this very movie we’re discussing.

We’d better ask Richard Gere to look into this…
