Soul Chaser Betty Cover

Popular action adventure web comic, Soul Chaser Betty, originally serialized on Graphic Smash and Web Comics Nation, is set for release to comic stores this February.  This “director’s cut” edition contains the complete story of Betty’s first adventure, and features new story, new art, extended scenes and a pin up sketch gallery.

Readers join Betty, a cross dimensional bundle of trouble, as she is recruited by fate to join a secret group of warriors.  Known as the Soul Chasers, they are the only hope standing between the world we know and a monstrous invasion from the Dreamscape.  Soul Chaser Betty is an action adventure fantasy chock full of battles, fearsome creatures and sharp humor, all set in a small town during the “awesome” 1980’s.  Get ready for a mythological action adventure that Ain’t-It-Cool-News called, “An incredible tale full of humor, great writing and an incredible artistic style…An engrossing read from start to finish.”

Released in black and white, 176 page digest format, Soul Chaser Betty (ISBN-13: 978-0-9794751-0-8) is priced at $14.95.  The book will be available for pre-order at comic shops and through Diamond Comics Previews during December, 2008.  Books ship to retailers in February, 2009.

MANLY makes a great Xmas gift for gay men and the women who love them!

Monday, December 1st, 2008

Dear TalkAboutComics friends:

MANLY is now 34% off the cover price at Amazon!

Yes, it’s gay comics porn. But it’s REALLY GOOD gay comics porn in a chic hardcover volume from a German gay art publisher. It’s an ideal gift for people who like finely-crafted filth featuring manly men doing manly things to each other.

MANLY by Dale Lazarov & Amy Colburn : http://www.amazon.com/dp/3861878879

***Gay guys dig it!

"If you’re looking for good gay porn comics, this is one of the best yet. Witty stories and sexy art combined in a fantastic combination."– postmodernbarney.com

What really makes MANLY sexy is the sex. And it’s as hot as anything I’ve seen…but where you could predict exactly where the story was going with a Tom of Finland comic, MANLY plays with your expectations with plots driven by the characters’ personalies, personalities that are more complex than being simply horny. And all this is done without dialogue or captions. It is really astonishing. Manly is both as hot as anything you’ve seen and still a work of art. I highly recommend it."– Scott C. Anderson

***Chicks who dig gay guys dig it!

"…The one thing that struck me the most in all 3 stories was the affection and warmth between the characters. I am a bit of a mush and things like the kiss and blush in "Busted", had me smiling with bit of a sigh. Don’t get me wrong either, I don’t mean romance as in fade to the fire burning shot. No. These boys go hard and the sex is totally hot, sensuous and sexy as all get out! I liked it. A lot!" — Rain On The Roof Reviews

"This brilliant work by Dale Lazarov and Amy Colburn, with colors by Dominic Cordoba left me speechless. The book has been generating a lot of Internet buzz recently and when I saw the pictures last evening I understood why. " — Reviews by Jessewave
